MARTIN, Circuit Judge.

An action for damages for personal injuries was brought in the Court of Common Pleas of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, by Mike Latsko against the National Carload-ing Corporation, which was organized under the laws of Delaware. On diversity of citizenship grounds, the action was removed to the United States District Court on petition of the defendant. By leave of that court, Latsko amended his petition so as to add two new defendants, namely The Erie Railroad Company, and the New York, Chicago & St. Louis Railroad Company (hereinafter often referred to as Nickel Plate).
