STATEMENT
Chapter 10501, Acts of 1925, is as follows:
“AN ACT Creating the Office of Auditor and Purchasing Agent for Dade County, Florida, Describing His Duties and Fixing His Salary.
Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
Section 1. T’hat the office of Auditor and Purchasing Agent', jointly, in and for Dade County, Florida, is hereby created. He shall be appointed by the Governor, and shall hold office until his successor has been elected at the General Election held in 1926 and he shall be elected every two years thereafter.
