The Illinois Workmen’s Compensation Act applies to “[e] very person in the service of another under any contract of hire, express or implied, oral or written, including persons whose employment is outside of the State of Illinois where the contract of hire is made within the State of Illinois ***.” (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1969, ch. 48, par. 138.1(b)2.) The claimant, Fred Morris, was injured in 1970 while working in Indiana for the respondent, Watson and Flagg Electric Company. The only issue in this case is whether the contract of hire was made in Illinois or Indiana.
