WOZNIAK, Judge.

Appellant Charles Louwagie is a farmer in Lyon County. On September 20, 1983, Thomas Noram, Louwagie’s full-time hired hand, was injured in a farming accident. The State of Minnesota Special Compensation Fund paid Noram’s workers’ compensation claim because Louwagie did not carry workers’ compensation insurance. The Fund brought an action against Lou-wagie to recover the sums paid to Noram. Louwagie brought this action against respondents State Farm Fire and Casualty Insurance and Robert Aufenthie, Louwa-gie’s insurance agent, alleging negligence and seeking indemnity on…
