GAINES, Associate Justice.

The property in controversy, a lot in the city of Terrell, was originally the homestead of A. D. Edwards and his first wife Florence Edwards, and was a part of their community estate. Florence Edwards died in the year 1877, having devised her interest to her children. In the year 1880 Edwards intermarried with Mrs. Kate Knight, who is now Mrs. Craddock, one of the appellants in this suit.
