OPINION
J. HARVEY HUDSON, Justice.
Appellant, Kambiz Dahesh, appeals the trial court’s decision to deny his application for a writ of habeas corpus. For reasons set out below, we dismiss this appeal for lack of jurisdiction.
Background and Procedural History
In August of 1980, appellant was charged with the misdemeanor offense of theft. He entered a plea of nolo contende-re and was sentenced to 90 days’ confinement, probated for a period of 180 days, and a fine of $250. Appellant paid his fine and, in April of 1981, successfully completed his probation.
