At a general court-martial composed of officer members, Appellant was convicted, contrary to his pleas, of rape, robbery (two specifications), adultery, and communication of a threat (three specifications), in violation of Articles 120, 122, and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), 10 U.S.C. §§ 920, 922, 934 (2000). He was sentenced to a dishonorable discharge, confinement for forty-eight years, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and reduction to the grade of E-1.
