E. J. Lamb prosecutes this appeal to reverse a judgment of conviction against him for the crime of perjury. The indictment charges him with having committed perjury when testifying for the defendant in the case of the State of Arkansas against George Bean charged with unlawfully keeping liquor for sale.
The officers had searched the hotel owned by George Bean and a room in which he and the defendant and two other persons were sitting, for whiskey. A grip containing a number of bottles of whiskey was found by one of the officers on the window ledge just outside the room.
