The appellant was convicted on an indictment which charged him as follows:
“The said Crock Warren, in the county and State aforesaid, on the 19th day of October, 1921, on his examination as a witness before the grand jury duly selected, impaneled, sworn and charged to inquire in and for the body of the county of Polk at the October term of the circuit court of said county, of which said grand jury J.
