MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER
LEON, District Judge.
Before the Court is defendants’ motion to dismiss or, in the alternative, to transfer venue to the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. Certain defendants (“Maryland Litigants”) have moved to transfer this action because they are parties to a related litigation in Maryland. Both the Maryland Litigants and certain other defendants in this case (“Additional Defendants”) argue that transfer of this action would serve the purposes of judicial economy and convenience of the parties and witnesses.
