BILLINGS, Judge.
Defendant Darlene Willis was court-tried and convicted in Greene County for the sale, distribution and delivery of cocaine in violation of §§ 195.017.4, and 195.020, RSMo 1978, and sentenced to five years imprisonment. The court of appeals, relying on State v. Weinzerl, 495 S.W.2d 137 (Mo.App.1973), concluded the State had failed to carry its burden of proof on the issue of defendant’s entrapment and reversed the conviction. We ordered the case transferred because of the general interest and importance of the issue involved and for the purpose of reexamining the existing law…
