Attorney Charles Dougan and his clients, Stephen and Janet Sharp, filed various petitions in this court seeking writs of prohibition against the Probate Judge of the Sixth Judicial District, First Division, and a writ of certiorari against the Honorable Alice S. Gray, the Probate Judge. A writ of prohibition is issued to prohibit a court from acting, while a writ of certiorari is issued to direct a judge to perform a duty. In addition, Dougan and the Sharps attempt to appeal some of the orders of the First Division Probate Court. We consolidate all of the petitions,…
