OPINION

{¶ 1} Defendant-Appellant, Justin D. Goldman, appeals a judgment of the Clark County Common Pleas Court, finding him guilty of felonious assault and sentencing him to eight years in prison. Goldman asserts that verdict on the felonious assault charge was not supported by sufficient evidence and that it was contrary to the manifest weight of the evidence. He also contends that the trial court instructed the jury improperly and, because counsel did not object to the instructions, his counsel was ineffective.
