Appellant Kenneth Wayne Paxton was tried by jury and convicted of Murder in the First Degree (21 O.S.1981, § 701.7) (Count I); Shooting with Intent to Kill (21 O.S.1981, § 652) (Count II); Discharging a Firearm with Intent to Kill (21 O.S.1981, § 652) (Count III); and Possession of a Loaded Firearm, After Former Conviction of a Felony (21 O.S.1981, § 1283) (Count TV), Case No. CRF-89-765, in the District Court of Oklahoma County.
