ORR, Judge:

In November 1987, the petitioner was convicted at a general court-martial of the intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, assault with a dangerous weapon, assault consummated by a battery, and two specifications of disrespect toward his superior commissioned officer. That conviction was set aside by this Court because the petitioner was found to be incompetent to conduct his own defense and the military judge erred in permitting the petitioner to proceed pro se.
