This is a CPLR article 78 proceeding wherein petitioner challenges the respondent’s determination which found petitioner *201guilty of inappropriate behavior at the Powelton Club and suspended his membership privileges for a period of six weeks. The petitioner claims that the respondent’s action was taken without notice or an opportunity to be heard, and that such determination was arbitrary and capricious.
