This was an action brought for the recovery of a strip of land described in the complaint as bounded by the main line of the Asheville and Spartanburg Railroad on the east, by W. H. Ray on the north, by the street leading from Anderson Avenue by the machine (215) shops of the Henderson Lumber Company on the west, and by Henderson Avenue on the south. The plaintiff showed a chain of title from the State to himself. The defendant admitted that it was in possession of the locus in quo.
