This was a suit instituted by plaintiff, tbe widow of an *422employee of tbe defendant company, to recover damages for the death of her husband alleged to have been occasioned through the negligence of the defendant. Trial was had at the September term of the district court, 1896, and the verdict of the jury was in favor of plaintiff.
