This is an action for $1,000.00 as compensation for the alleged damage done to plaintiff’s household furnishings and the floors and walls of her residence in Portland, Oregon. Plaintiff claims this was caused by the negligence of the defendant, B. J. Wheeler, while spray painting an oil furnaee which he had previously installed upon plaintiff’s premises. The defendant Wheeler admits the engagement to install the furnace but denies negligence or damage in connection with the spray painting.
