W. F. Jackson instituted this action in the circuit court of Washington County against B. C. Carter. The foundation of the action is three promissory notes executed by Carter to Jackson for the purchase of an automobile. The notes were dated November 22, 19'20, one for the sum of $833, and two for the sum of $833.50 each, due respectively February 1, 1921, November 22, 1921, and November 2,1922, a total sum of $2,500, bearing interest at the rate of ten per cent, per annum from date until paid.
