This is a motion, brought on by order to show cause, for a preliminary injunction. The order of March 18, 1977 included a temporary restraining order pending the hearing. The order stayed the New York Jets Football Club, Inc. (Jets), and its acting president, Leon Hess, from breaching its lease agreement with the City of New York (City) by scheduling home football games at a place other than Shea Stadium.
