On July 9, 2007, C.D.S. (“the father”) filed a notice of appeal and a motion in this court to vacate a circuit court’s June 28, 2007, judgment and to stay that court’s proceedings pending the appeal of that court’s judgment modifying custody. We grant the father’s motion to vacate; we also remand this case and order that it be reassigned to a different circuit court judge upon remand. Further proceedings in this case shall be stayed until the circuit court judge to whom the case is reassigned has had an opportunity to conduct an evi-dentiary hearing on the matter of the children’s custody…
