BURKE, Judge.

These two actions are for damages which the plaintiffs alleged they suffered as a result of a collision between an automobile owned by plaintiff, Sven Erdahl, and operated by plaintiff, Ruth Erdahl, and an automobile owned and operated by the defendant, Neil Hegg. The plaintiffs alleged that their damages were proximately caused by the negligence of the defendant. The defendant, in his answer, denied any negligence on his part and counterclaimed for his damages which he alleged were proximately caused by the negligence of the plaintiff, Ruth Erdahl.
