In 1924, a real estate promotion was commenced by a group of real estate operators who had organized, in August, 1924, a corporation known as “Frazier Mountain Park and Fisheries Company, Inc.” This corporation secured about 800 acres of real property for subdivision purposes lying to the west of United States Highway 99, approximately on the borderline between Kern County and Ventura County, in the mountainous area just south of Lebec.
