This is an action to recover damages for personal injuries suffered .by the plaintiff when his automobile collided with the negligently operated automobile of the defendant’s insured. The -case was tried before a jury on the issues of damages and the sufficiency of the plaintiff’s attempts to personally serve the defendant’s insured with the complaint and summons. The jury returned a verdict in the plaintiff’s favor in the amount of $10,000.
