Defendant and appellant, David Angel Diaz, appeals from the judgment entered following his conviction, by jury trial, for attempted murder, aggravated mayhem, assault by means likely to produce great bodily injury, and assault with a semiautomatic weapon, with enhancements for discharging a firearm causing great bodily injury, firearm use and infliction of great bodily injury (Pen.
