Defendant Larry Douglas Lucas appeals from the judgment of the Los Angeles County Superior Court imposing the death penalty following his conviction by jury of two counts of first degree murder (Pen. Code, § 187; all further statutory references are to this code unless otherwise indicated) and burglary (§ 459), as well as two special-circumstance findings-multiple murder (§ 190.2, subd.
