Ricky J. Huey (“Huey”) appeals from the trial court’s grant of summary judgment in favor of Gary Meek (“Meek”) in a declaratory action case. Huey was in an automobile accident and received various medical treatments as a result. Prior to receiving chiropractic treatment from Meek, Huey signed documents entitled “Consensual Lien” (“the lien”) and “Assignment of Benefits” (“the assignment”) which purported to transfer to Meek the right to receive certain funds arising from a future personal injury recovery.
