This case comes before the court on an appeal from the bankruptcy court by the trustee, Christopher J. Redmond (hereinafter, the trustee), of the bankruptcy estate of Donald L. Hatfield (hereinafter, the debtor). The trustee filed an adversary action against Joe Mendenhall and Lex Mendenhall (hereinafter, the creditor), co-executors of the estate of Patricia Ann Mendenhall, seeking to set aside a transfer to the creditor as a preference.
