KAZEN, District Judge.

Pending before the Court is Petitioner’s Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus and Motion to Stay Deportation Proceedings. Petitioner seeks judicial review pf the Board of Immigration Appeals’ (“BIA”) November 17, 1992 decision affirming the Immigration Judge’s (“U”) decision denying his petition for asylum and ordering him deported to India, as well as a stay of ongoing deportation proceedings pending such review.
