LANDRY, Judge.

Pursuant to application by Dr. Eugene Dabezies (Relator), an alternative writ issued herein ordering the Honorable Baron B. Bourg, Judge, Seventeenth Judicial District Court, Terrebonne Parish (Respondent), to set aside or show cause by brief before this court, why a judgment rendered by Respondent holding Relator in direct contempt of court should not be set aside and vacated. The judgment sentenced Relator to serve a term of six hours in the parish jail and pay a fine of $150.00 and costs, and in default of payment to serve an additional ten days in jail, for failure to appear…
