BOOTH, Circuit Judge.

This is an appeal from a judgment based upon a directed verdict at the close of plaintiff’s ease in an action at law brought by appellant, the First National Bank & Trust Company (hereafter called the bank) against the Stock Yards Loan Company (hereafter called the loan company). The action was for conversion of cattle owned by one Jesse C. Moore upon which the bank claimed liens under chattel mortgages. The complaint contained five counts.
