This is an appeal and cross appeal from a judgment rendered in each of two cases after a combined trial. The plaintiffs in the first case, Gary and Eileen Slattery, instituted an action against the defendants, August P. and Helen F. Maykut, seeking damages for breach of a contract to convey residential real estate, specific performance, and dam ages for fraud. In the second case, the plaintiff, August P.
