In the district court for Douglas county Frank Sellers, defendant, was charged with grand larceny, the property stolen being an automobile. ‘Defendant pleaded guilty, but the district court, instead of imposing the sentence prescribed by the Criminal Code, put him on probation March 16, 1919, in charge of the adult probation officer for a two-year period, on the condition of good behavior, with permission to apply for and to reside on a soldier’s homestead.
