Carl Grube died from injuries inflicted upon him by an automobile operated by William Carr, plaintiff in error, referred to herein as defendant, and because thereof he was, in the district court for Douglas County, accused of the crimes of' manslaughter and illegally leaving the scéne of the accident.- When he appeared for arraignment, the court, at the request of the representative of the State, dismissed the charge of manslaughter, and the defendant pleaded guilty to the charge of improperly leaving the scene of the accident.
