LEADBETTER, Judge.

The Department of Transportation, Bureau of Driver Licensing appeals from an order of the Court of Common Pleas of Chester County sustaining the appeal of Gregory Koterba from a one year suspension of his operating privilege. We reverse.

Pursuant to the Driver’s License Compact (Compact), 75 Pa.C.S. § 1581, 1 the Department suspended Koterba’s operating privilege for one year after it received notice via electronic transmission from the New Jersey Division of Motor Vehicles that Koterba had been convicted in New Jersey, on September 2, 1997, of operating a motor vehicle while…
