(dissenting) — Charles A. Morisette, who had a written contract of employment for a definite term with defendant corporation, was discharged by his employer prior to expiration of the term of employment. Morisette instituted an action against defendant to recover damages alleged to have been sustained in the amount of $7,322.60, from the date of discharge to a fixed date prior to the date of trial. The defense to the action was that the employee was discharged for cause. Trial of the cause to the court sitting with a jury resulted in verdict for eighteen hundred dollars in favor of plaintiff.…
