On the 31st day of August, 1883, one James L. Holbrook made a will devising all of his real estate to his *32wife, Charlotte E., and providing that each of his seven children, naming them, should have the sum of $10. On the 7th day of July, 1883, he made a second will, in which he devised his real estate to his said wife and appointed her executrix without bond, and provided that the estate should be settled without the intervention of the probate court, except to admit the will to probate, and did not make any provision for his children therein,…
