This is a petition for mandamus filed by the relator, Chas. M. Cocke, who was appointed independent executor under the will of Mamie A. Grubbs, deceased, to compel the respondent, Pearl Smith, District Clerk of Dallas County, to prepare and deliver to him a transcript of the proceedings in Cause No. 73320-E in the matter of the Estate of Mamie A.
