This proceeding purports to have been commenced and carried on in the court of oyer and terminer and general jail delivery and the court of quarter sessions of the peace, in the juvenile court of the county of Philadelphia. The act of May 21, 1901, P. L. 279, attempted to confer upon the courts of oyer and terminer and general jail delivery, and the courts of quarter sessions of the peace of the several counties, concurrent jurisdiction of all cases arising under that statute, but even that piece of legislation did not attempt to wipe out the distinction between…
