Albert, J. —

On the 2d day of May, 1917, defendant insurance company issued a policy of insurance on the life of John B. Jacobson, in which the plaintiff herein was named as beneficiary. On the 11th day of April, 1922, John B. Jacobson attempted to change the beneficiary named in said policy to Yiola M. Jacobson, his then wife, in pursuance of the provisions of the terms of said policy. John B. Jacobson died on the 19th day of April, 1922. Plaintiff herein brought suit on the original policy, which named her as beneficiary, making the insurance company and Yiola M. Jacobson defendants. The…
