1Opinion of the Court

ORDER

SUSAN WEBBER WRIGHT, District Judge.

Petitioner Alvin Bernal Jackson (“Jackson”), sentenced to death for murder and confined at the Maximum Security Unit of the Arkansas Department of Correction, seeks a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254, as amended by the Anti-terrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996 (“AEDPA”). Jackson asserts that his death sentence is in violation of several provisions of the United States Constitution. After careful consideration of the record, and for the reasons that follow, Jackson’s petition will be dismissed with prejudice.
