I. BACKGROUND

On October 8, 2014, the Securities and Exchange Commission requested that the Court enter an order for a temporary asset freeze, financial discovery, and an accounting of Samuel Wyly’s and the Estate of Charles Wyly’s assets to preserve the SEC’s ability to enforce a final judgment h This request was opposed by the Wylys, as well as eleven family members (the “Family Members”) whose assets were implicated by the request.
