Preston Ott brought action in the County Court of Orangeburg County to foreclose a mortgage of real estate, which the complaint alleges was executed and delivered to him by Louie P. Ott, along with the bond which the mortgage was given to secure. The complaint alleges also that the bond has been lost, that in drawing the mortgage the scrivener made the mistake of inserting the name of Louie P. Ott at several places where the name of Preston Ott should have been written, and asks that this mistake be remedied. It is further alleged…
