Katherine Puffer sued Allstate Insurance Company (“Allstate”) on behalf of herself and a putative class, alleging that Allstate carried out a nationwide pattern or practice of sex discrimination in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq., and the Equal Pay Act of 1963, 29 U.S.C. § 206(d).
