In the separately administered, but related, chapter 11 cases of Adelphia Communications Corporation (“ACC”) and ACC’s former subsidiary, Adelphia Business Solutions, Inc. (“ABIZ,” which was spun-off from ACC), the Court has before it a total of five motions for relief from the section 362 stay, to enforce the stay and/or to extend the stay, with respect to three Directors & Officers (“D & 0”) insurance policies that now cover ACC and ABIZ officers and directors (the “D & 0 Policies”).
