Thompson, J.-

On August 16, 1952, a collision occurred on a public highway in Scott County between automobiles owned by the plaintiff and defendant respectively. Plaintiff’s car was driven by her husband, with her consent. She was riding in the automobile as a passenger. Defendant was driving her own car. Both automobiles were traveling in the same direction. As plaintiff’s ear approached a private driveway leading from the left side of the highway to the plant of the Bendix Aircraft Corporation, the driver prepared to make a left turn for the purpose of entering this drive.
