Following a plea of guilty, respondent, Westley A.F., Jr., was adjudicated delinquent as to the offense of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a church, school, or park (720 ILCS 570/407(b)(2) (West 2006)) and sentenced to 12 months of probation. Soon thereafter, the State petitioned to revoke respondent’s probation, and the trial court advised respondent about the minimum and maximum penalties that could be imposed.
