Defendant, News Group Chicago, Inc. (News Group), applied to this court for leave to appeal under Supreme Court Rule 308 (134 Ill. 2d R. 308) from an order identifying two questions for appeal. Rule 308 allows an appeal from an interlocutory order, identifying a question of law, with the permission of the appellate court in the exercise of its discretion.
