OPINION

BAKER, Chief Judge.

Appellant-plaintiff John W. Clark, individually and as personal representative of the Estate of Cory R. Clark, deceased (collectively, the Estate), appeals the trial court’s order entering summary judgment in favor of appellee-defendant Aris, Inc. (Aris), on the Estate’s complaint for negligent hiring and retention. The Estate contends that there are multiple issues of fact rendering summary judgment inappropriate. Finding that Aris did not owe a duty of care to the victims as a matter of law, we affirm.
